Short Music Bio

Brent Persia grew up in Pembroke, New York. As a teenager Brent trained himself to be an intermediate classical pianist and an artist. After entertaining other interests in college, he got back into music by purchasing an acoustic guitar and tape recorder. This led to the building of a recording studio in 2002.

In 2005 Brent wrote his first songs and took them out of the house to local venues. Since then he has played all over the Western New York area from Rochester to Buffalo. His music has been featured on Western New York's 107.7 The Lake, 90.7 WGCC, 1490 WBTA, LCTV Adelphia Channel 13, and Adelphia Channel 20. Brent was a finalist in the 2005 Genesee County Idol competition. He was nominated for best acoustic performer in Nightlife Magazine's "Best of Western New York" contest for two years.

In 2009 Brent published a journal which documents his study of music and recording. He returned to school for physics education at that time.

In October of 2010 Brent plans to release an 11 song music album which is a compilation of his first five years of songwriting.
